We are currently seeking a dedicated Permanent Workshop Fitter for our engineering client based in Caldicot, Monmouthshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing and maintaining a range of machinery, with a focus on wiring, fault finding, and ensuring all equipment is functioning optimally. This role requires a professional with experience in servicing, diagnostics, and repairs, particularly involving beacons, cameras, and other electronic systems. The Workshop Fitter will play a crucial part in diagnosing faults and implementing effective solutions to minimise downtime, ensuring that machinery from brands such as Volvo, Komatsu, CAT, and Kubota remains operational and reliable. The role also demands a proactive attitude towards safety, maintenance best practices, and working closely with the engineering team to deliver high-quality service.

• Experience in maintenance and servicing of industrial machinery
• Strong wiring, fault finding, and diagnostics skills
• Knowledge of beacons, cameras, and electronic systems
• Experience with brands such as Volvo, Komatsu, CAT, or Kubota is highly desirable.
• Proven track record in a similar workshop environment
• Good understanding of health and safety regulations
